Brexit effected Indian markets and had lost nearly 1,090 points at one state after Britons in a referendum on 23 June have voted by a narrow margin to leave the European Union (EU). Media reports on early 24 June indicate that 51.9 per cent voted in favour of leaving the EU while 48.1 per cent voted for remaining in.

Europe’s British Dismemberment occurred overnight. Many in the continent went to sleep at their own local time in confidence that the project of European Integration survived another serious challenge and woke up to find that the EU was dismembered, for the first time.

The political pendulum between Conservatives and Labour may have come to an end, with Nigel Farage being among the winners of the night, along with Boris Johnson. Now the question becomes what did they win and what did Europe l...
