Brexit talks start

The opening of the negotiations between the EU and the UK on the withdrawal from the EU are set to begin in Brussels, almost a year after Britain voted to leave the bloc.

Talks are set to begin on Monday 19 June 2017 at the Berlaymont, the European Commission headquarters within the Belgian capital, as Michel Barnier, the European Commission's Chief Negotiator, and David Davis, Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, last Thursday to officially launch Article 50 negotiations.
