Belgian shoe firm Brantano last week posted a threefold increase in full-year 2006 net profit to 29.5 million Euro (USD 38.70 million.) As well as the profit rise from 7.1 million Euro last year, the company saw turnover decline by 2.9 percent to 295.2 million Euro. Earnings were influenced by 29.1 million Euro worth of operating revenues reaped from the sale of real estate and store management. For 2007, Brantano expects turnover to be between 300 million Euro and 310 million Euro. ...
