BP's billionaire partners plan to bid for half of the British oil producer's 50% holding in TNK-BP, in the latest move in the BP-AAR dispute over the Russian joint venture. The ownership of TNK-BP is divided between BP and Russian business tycoons represented by AAR (Alfa-Access-Renova) consortium. AAR has reportedly said that the bid would be made by 19 July. In June, BP said it was considering exiting the venture after receiving proposals to buy its shareholding.
