For the past 10 years, AT&T has supported The Prince of Wales Foundation and The Prince’s Trust – an organization that provides funding and helps disadvantaged young people to get their lives on track.
In September, I joined other AT&T Team members and rode 45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle in The Prince’s Trust annual Palace-to-Palace Bike Ride. The AT&T Team raised a record £3,543 thanks to donations and pledges of support from colleagues and friends.
To date, the Palace-to-Palace event has raised more than £1 million for The Prince’s Trust. It is a fantastic cause and I’m proud that the AT&T team – both riders and otherwise – have been able to commit time, effort and money towards such a worthy cause.
Youth unemployment is a continuing social and economic challenge in the UK and across the globe. Since 2005, AT&T has contributed $575,000 to The Prince of Wales Foundation and The Prince’s Trust, which has gone to support more than 200 young people. Last year, AT&T’s contribution to the Prince of Wales Foundation supported 28 young people; 23 on the Enterprise programme and 5 of the most disadvantaged on theFairbridge programme.
Our employees are committed to ensuring a sustainable future for Europe and we’re proud to be celebrating 10 years of working with The Prince’s Trust to support youth in the UK.
