Emmanuel Macron's government presented a labour market reform plan on Thursday, delivering on one of his key campaign promises.
Labour Minister Muriel Penicaud presented five decrees detailed in over 200 pages as “unprecedented.," while Prime Minister  Édouard Philippe called the measures to be taken "fair and balanced." The labour market reform package is poised to reach the parliament on September 22nd.
