For the computer user, it’s the perpetual curse, everyone knows about spam, those unsolicited emails that clog up your inbox and spread viruses in cyberspace. Yet, according to data compiled by Symantec, the United States software company, and information published in the VUM newspapers “De Standaard”, “Het Nieuwsblad” and “Het Volk,” around four percent of spam originates from Belgium.
