Europe’s future is the priority, says Ansip

“Consumers could save €11.7 billion per year if they could choose from a range of goods and services from across the EU's 28 countries when they shop online,” says Vice-President Ansip, speaking at a meeting to discuss the digital Single Market in Brussels today.

He pledged not just to deal with the short term issues, such as “addressing issues relating to telecoms and online platforms” and “getting rid of longstanding annoyances like geo-blocking.”
