Fear of new migrants route pushes Austria to build fence at border with Italy


There is still growing tension in one of Europe internal border. Austria is keeping up with its plan to build a fence at the border with Italy. On Saturday a protest organised by far-left militants turned ugly with almost 20 wounded Italian policemen and a dozen demonstrators arrested.

Austria is reacting to a possible new route of migration. After the deal with Turkey there is a growing opinion that the thousands of refugees will simply arrive in Europe via Italy rather than Greece.
